Fluoropolymers are a class of high-performance polymers, renowned for their excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance, and low coefficient of friction.
PTFE possesses excellent chemical inertness (virtually insoluble in any solvent), an extremely low coefficient of friction, and excellent resistance to high and low temperatures (-200°C to +260°C). It is commonly used in non-stick coatings, seals, pipe linings, and electrical insulation.
PFA is a processable fluoroplastic improved upon PTFE. It retains PTFE's corrosion resistance and heat resistance (up to approximately 260°C), but can be melt-extruded or injection-molded, significantly improving processing flexibility. It is commonly used in high-purity semiconductor piping, chemical valve linings, and wire and cable sheathing, representing an "easy-to-process" version of PTFE.
PVDF has a slightly lower fluorine content than the previous two, but higher mechanical strength, outstanding weather resistance, and UV resistance. It possesses both piezoelectric and thermoelectric properties and is commonly used in lithium-ion battery adhesives, solar backsheets, chemical piping, and high-purity fluid transport systems.

Fluorine rubber (FKM): "king of rubber" with high temperature and oil resistance
Fluorinated rubber elastomers are also called "special forces" in the rubber industry. Unlike the above described PTFE and PFA, it is the best feature of FKM that has high elasticity of rubber and has excellent chemical resistance and heat resistance.
Main features:
Heat resistant: long term usage temperature reaches 200.degree. C. to 250C, and can withstand at 300.degree. C. in short term use temperature, and surpasses common nitrile rubber (NBR).
Oil resistance and chemical resistance: ideal for automotive engine room, showing high resistance to mineral oil, fuel oil, hydraulic oil, and many organic solvents.
Weatherproof: excellent resistance to ozone, ultraviolet rays, aging, and suitable for severe outdoor environments.

Perfluoroether rubber FFKM

Perfluoroether rubber FFKM

  • RAW MATERIALS & ADDITIVES RUBBERS & SILICONE RUBBERS

Perfluoroether rubber FFKM is currently the most comprehensive synthetic rubber in terms of performance.
Core advantages:
Ultimate chemical resistance: The molecular backbone of FFKM is composed of carbon carbon bonds and carbon oxygen bonds, and all carbon bonds are tightly wrapped by fluorine atoms. This makes it inert to almost all chemicals, including strong acids, strong bases, ketones, esters, amines, and various organic solvents.
High temperature resistance limit: Long term use temperature can reach 316 ° C~327 ° C, and in the short term, it can even withstand higher temperatures.
High purity: Special grades (such as semiconductor grade) have extremely low metal ion and organic matter precipitation, meeting the stringent requirements for ultra-high purity in semiconductor manufacturing.
Typical applications:
Semiconductors: Seals for plasma etching and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) equipment.
Petrochemical industry: packer rubber cylinder for deep-sea drilling, high temperature and high pressure oil and gas wells.
Pharmaceutical/Chemical: Reactor seals that require frequent high-temperature steam sterilization (SIP) and strong solvent cleaning.
