Highlights
Precision injection molding is a strong point, featuring 0.1μm-level high-precision processing and the technical capability to handle complex shapes, thin-wall parts, and glass fiber-reinforced resins. CIM (Ceramic Injection Molding) stands out for its ability to deliver near-net-shape parts without secondary processing — enabling low-cost, short-lead-time production of intricate ceramic components that are difficult to achieve through machining alone. Injection molding with bioplastics highlights the practical viability of eco-conscious materials through concrete product realization track records. Rigid urethane molding offers lightweight structures, with sample displays letting visitors experience insulation performance and weight reduction firsthand. On-site samples will also be available for visitors to touch and feel the material quality and insulation properties directly. Backed by 107 years of accumulated technical expertise and the prototyping capabilities of our group companies, our ability to provide diverse resin and material technologies within an integrated production system stands out as a defining strength.

Our rigid urethane foam molding (structural foam) delivers lightweighting and one-shot molding of complex shapes in a single process. It solves problems like: "needs to be lighter, but metal has hit its limit," "injection molding can't make large, complex shapes," "tooling costs are too high for low-volume runs," and "we also need insulation and quietness." With a foaming ratio of 20-30x, density drops to about 0.04-0.06 - roughly 1/150 the weight of steel, 1/55 of aluminum, and 1/30 of CFRP. Because it uses low-pressure liquid injection, it can form large parts over 1.0 m² in area, plus thick, uneven, and undercut sections difficult with injection molding - all as one seamless part with no weld lines, cutting part count and tooling cost. It also integrates insulation, self-adhesion, water/chemical resistance, and environmental performance (non-fluorocarbon) into one part - ideal for replacing metal, FRP, and sheet metal. Adoption spans automotive/EV, medical equipment, robotics, and housing/water equipment. With four foaming lines, we offer one-stop support from planning through prototyping to mass production, even before drawings are ready.

CIM (Ceramic Injection Molding)

CIM (Ceramic Injection Molding) combines the mass-production efficiency of injection molding with the advanced functionality of fine ceramics, enabling complex and precise ceramic parts without secondary processing. Unlike press molding or machining, it generates less material waste, uses relatively affordable molds, and remains cost-competitive from small-lot to mass production. Building on our precision molding expertise, we have advanced to precision CIM with dimensional tolerances in the 1µm range, with proven results including radial tolerances within 0.08mm, surface roughness around Ra0.2, and tolerances within 3µm. We support a wide range of materials — alumina, zirconia, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and more — leveraging heat resistance above 1000°C, excellent wear resistance, and biocompatibility for applications in medical devices (implants), optical communications and electronic components, and sensors/semiconductors. We position this as our core process for meeting the growing demand for miniaturization and higher functionality.

Bioplastic injection molding

Bioplastic injection molding uses materials that biodegrade in soil and seawater while maintaining the same moldability as petroleum-based resins, making it well-suited for disposable and low-recovery-rate applications. The sakura plate demonstrates a design-forward molded product, reflecting concrete product-realization achievements that go beyond mere concept proposals. By applying the mold design and molding-condition know-how built up through our conventional precision injection molding, we can also address challenges unique to bioplastics, such as molding shrinkage and reduced strength. This is a strength particularly suited to fields facing growing demand for SDGs and plastic-reduction initiatives — food packaging, everyday goods, and novelty items — where we can propose solutions that balance environmental responsibility with practicality.

Precision injection molding is a molding technology capable of processing accuracy at the 0.1µm level. We handle everything in-house, from mold design to the optimization of molding conditions, mass-producing parts with complex shapes, thin walls, and fine features at high dimensional precision. We also work with challenging materials such as heat-resistant super engineering plastics like PPS and glass fiber-reinforced resins, controlling fiber orientation to manage sink marks and warping and ensure dimensional stability. Our molding-condition management system, which guarantees reproducibility during mass production, enables stable supply with minimal lot-to-lot variation. The expertise built through this precision molding also carries over into CIM (Ceramic Injection Molding), contributing to proven high-precision results including radial tolerances within 0.08mm, surface roughness around Ra0.2, and tolerances within 3µm. Built on 107 years of accumulated mold-making and molding technology, we meet a wide range of precision component needs — from optical and electronic components to sensors and medical devices.
